Description - What is an Examination Under Anaesthetic (EUA) (Rectum)? EUA is an investigation carried out under a general anaesthetic (whilst you are asleep) to obtain more information about your symptoms. This will involve looking in the anus (back passage) and bowel. A small telescope may be inserted into your rectum that helps the surgeon identify anything unusual. In addition small pieces of tissue may be removed and sent to the laboratory to be examined under the microscope.Title - Eye Lesions

Description - Gallbladder removal surgery, also known as a cholecystectomy, is a very common procedure. The gallbladder is a small, pouch-like organ in the upper right part of your tummy. It stores bile, a fluid produced by the liver that helps break down fatty foods. You do not need a gallbladder, so surgery to take it out is often recommended if you develop any problems with it.Title - Lesions, Lipomas and Cysts
Description - Lipomas - are soft fatty lumps just under the skin and are not harmful. Lipomas are common. Lesions - are changes in body tissue. Cysts - A skin cyst is a fluid-filled lump just underneath the skin. It is common and harmless, and may disappear without treatment. Cysts can range in size from smaller than a pea to a few centimetres across. Skin Tags - are outgrowths of skin. Skin tags are small, soft, skin-coloured growths on your skin.Title - Mastoid Surgery

Description - Details of the procedure: You may have a full general anaesthetic (where you are asleep) although, most commonly, the procedure is done under local anaesthetic (with you awake) if local anaesthetic is being used, the injection causes some discomfort and the needle prick is painful (like a “bee sting”).The skin lesion will be removed or incised using a scalpel or electric current, we use dissolvable stitches to close the skin; these normally disappear within two to three weeks. Occasionally, we use a biopsy needle to get tissue for analysis, without the need for an incision or stitches.Title - Qutenza (Capsaicin) 8% patch
Description - Qutenza is indicated for the management of neuropathic pain. Pain is transmitted by nerves so it is often possible to reduce pain by blocking signals from affected nerves. It is a patch for use on your skin. Qutenza contains a synthetic form of capsaicin, which is the compound that gives chilli peppers their heat sensation. The capsaicin acts on pain sensing nerves in the skin, making them less sensitive to pain.Title - Toenail Surgery

All toes can be affected, but it is more common in big toes. Part of the nail can be removed or all the nail. The nail bed can also be removed and this will usually be decided in clinic. - Sepsis
