About the service
Urology is a surgical speciality covering the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs. We offer services to patients from St Helens, Knowsley and surrounding areas as well as further afield for some of our specialist activities.
Our Service is based in a state of the art purpose built hospital at Whiston and St Helens. Our clinics are varied and can be held throughout the day, evenings and weekends.

We also offer One Stop clinics and efficient reliable services to all our patients. Our service is staffed by a large team of doctors, nurses and support staff. You are likely to meet many of these people throughout your encounters with our department.
Education
We currently provide a PG cert in urology education in collaboration with Edgehill University.
