About the service
A multidisciplinary team (medical doctors, nurses and therapists) will work in conjunction with the orthopaedic surgeons to ensure older patients with a hip fracture are reviewed regularly throughout their hospital stay and provide care in accordance with the quality standards as described in the National Hip Fracture Database (www.nhfd.co.uk).
