About the service

The Procurement Department, based at Whiston Hospital and Knowsley Community College, provide a range of services for the Trust. These include strategic and transactional sourcing; materials management; issuing purchase orders to suppliers; receipt and distribution and PPE allocation.

If you are supplier with an idea that you think may be of interest, please complete the “Contact Us” form located in the Useful Links section. This will allow the idea to be assigned and reviewed by a member of the team. This should be less burdensome to you than cold calling, sending catalogues by post or generic emails.

Visiting the Trust

All visits from supplier representatives must be booked on the MIA system a minimum of 48 hours in advance of your visit. Please note that this includes virtual meetings.

Visits without prior booking are not permitted nor is leaving samples without prior agreement of the Procurement Department.
