Overview/Background:
Originally from the Lebanon, I attended medical school in Kaunas, Lithuania, and was awarded a master’s degree in Medicine in 2008 by Kaunas Medical University. I completed my foundation years and core medical training as a junior doctor in Northern Ireland after which I moved to England in 2013 where I started my training in Respiratory Medicine.
I joined STHK in 2014 where I had my core training in respiratory medicine and progressed to my first consultant post in August 2020. My special interests are Lung cancer and diseases of the pleura including Mesothelioma, pleural fluid and pleural infections.
Alongside my consultant role I am involved in medical education delivering teaching to both student and postgraduate doctors.
