Overview/Background:
Kevin Hardy graduated Liverpool Medical School in 1984, became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1988 and completed 3 years doctoral research in Neuroscience at Keele University before moving to the USA to continue research in diabetes & endocrinology. He completed higher specialist training in Edinburgh and was appointed as a consultant physician at Whiston Hospital in 1995. Kevin has held many local, regional and national senior clinical, managerial and educational leadership positions, including trust medical director and head of the undergraduate medical school at Edge Hill University.
