Overview/Background:
Dr Bassi graduated from Calcutta in India and has been a consultant in Whiston hospital since 2005; He was the clinical director in Gastroenterology till 2018 and was appointment as the Divisional Medical Director (Medicine) since then. He is the chair of the Cheshire and Merseyside Endoscopy group and the gastroenterology lead in the elective care board.
