STHK Matron wins Professional Pride award

Teams from STHK were in attendance at the Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professional (AHP) Sharing Best Practice event hosted by the Cheshire & Merseyside Health and Care Partnership at St George’s Hall in Liverpool, on Wednesday 2nd March.

The event featured talks from a range of healthcare speakers, as well as research poster presentations from teams across Cheshire and Merseyside.

In her opening speech, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Director for Nursing and Care, Marie Boles, said, “Every single person in this room is making a difference every day. This is an opportunity to reflect on our achievements.”

The event also included an awards ceremony to celebrate the important roles of nurses, midwives and AHPs in the region.

Huge congratulations go to STHK's Yvonne Mahambrey, Quality Matron for Patient Experience, who received the Cheshire & Merseyside Professional Pride Award for her outstanding poster submission.

We at Team STHK are extremely proud of you.
