Be Prostate Cancer Aware

1 in 4 black men get prostate cancer in their lifetime. That’s double the risk compared to males in other communities.

So, it is especially important that black men are aware of their level of risk of developing prostate cancer and how to take action to support early identification.

As part of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance are inviting men aged 45 and above and of African and/or Afro-Caribbean descent, and their family and friends, to attend a Be Prostate Cancer Aware Health Talk in Liverpool on Thursday 3rd March 2022, 11am – 3pm.

With talks from a range of guest speakers, this is a FREE event with advice, information, entertainment, discussion, and refreshments.
